When people think about architecture, most begin with floor plans and design. What we at S/CAPE CONSULTING are looking at is the future that lies beyond them.
A building never stands on its own. It holds the lives lived inside it, shapes the streetscape around it, builds value for the area, and is handed on to the next generation. We treat architectural design, property, business planning, and asset formation as a single project, and work out the best answer across all of them.
What we value at S/CAPE CONSULTING is a way of designing that looks through to the life and the environment beyond the building. We hold both the expertise of a registered first-class architect and the knowledge of a real estate professional. Rather than looking at one building alone, we can speak to the life, the streetscape, and the future asset value that follow from it.
Architecture is not about putting up a building. It is about becoming something whose time makes a life richer, raises the value of a place, and is carried on to the next generation. That, we believe, is the true value of architecture.
The slash that divides S from CAPE stands for the structure of the name: a single viewpoint, Scale, running through the four elements of Construction, Area, Plan, and Environment.
The final E is drawn as three lines. From Environment to Evolution and Expand — completion is not the end. A building grows and widens from there, and the mark is our declaration of that openness.
How large does this building actually need to be? Within the conditions we are given, we look for the size that produces the most value.
